Good advice, great execution

"A while back I had an important two-hole-mat (one round, one rectangular) presentation to have framed. Both Todd and his employee had excellent advice on the frame and the mat color They didn't suggest the most expensive molding in the shop, though it was obvious my employer had "deep pockets." While I turned my attention to chatting with Todd, whom I had known as a student, the employee completed all the complex measurements and the project turned out exquisitely. I recommend this resource to anyone who asks, especially if the project is impractical as a DIY job."

"My family has had nothing but great experiences here. Most recently I went in at the end of the day on Friday with a very curled Albers print hoping to have it framed as a gift for my husband's birthday which was three days away. I knew the frame job wouldn't be completed in time but I did mention that it was for a gift. The lead time on the job was supposed to be two weeks. Not only did I receive excellent service but I was shocked and amazed when I got a call less than 24 hours later telling me the job was done! The crew at Framing Resource went above and beyond to work a miracle for me. In addition, I really feel like they "get" it in terms of knowing what will work aesthetically with whatever you are framing. They made great suggestions and together we picked out the perfect frame. I got amazingly quick service and an archival quality job...at a price that was reasonable. I couldn't be more pleased. "

"I had some art inherited from my family and they helped re-frame both pieces nicely. Steve has a natural eye for how to bring out the different aspects of a piece of art. They also take care of my art like it was their own piece. Also helped me clean up a piece that I wanted to sell and not put extra money into. I highly recommend them."

"Framing Resource is simply the best place to go in Portland when you need to frame any work of art! Choosing a frame that enhances a work of art without overwhelming it can be a challenge. Todd, Steve and Cindy are extremely helpful in assisting me to select the perfect frame and framing materials. Showcasing the work of art is always the priority, unlike some frame shops, which may promote expensive frames at the aesthetic expense of the art. I have used Framing Resource for many years and have never been disappointed. Recently, the framing on a very large picture I purchased from a private collection , required repair/replacement. Todd picked up of the picture, advised on archival issues to preserve and protect the art work and then delivered the piece to my home upon completion. This is simply one example of the superb level of service Framing Resource provides."

"I don't remember when we started taking our business to Framing Resource. My wife and I have used them for decades. They have framed everything imaginable for us, from our children's grade school artwork to our grand-children's birth announcements, from inexpensive poster art and memorabilia to an incredible 18th century needlework sampler worth more than $10,000 (yes, we trust these guys!). They even supplied, framed, and helped to deliver and hang a 4' x 8' beveled mirror for our dining room. No job is too big (or too heavy) or too small for them. They are innovative and imaginative, jobs are completed on time and delivered as promised, their prices are more than fair, and, of great importance to us, they take pride in their workmanship, which is impeccable. When we need something framed, whatever it is, we know where to go. Once a person has worked with Framing Resource, why would they go anywhere else?!"

"My wife and I have had a number of items (from inexpensive computer-generated photos to valuable works of art) matted and/or framed by Framing Resource over the past two years. We've worked almost exclusively with Steve. He's tremendously helpful in choosing appropriate frames from FR's extensive selection. He also makes sure we don't overdo it. Prices are fair; estimates are always accurate. Work is done in a timely fashion. The overall customer experience simply couldn't be any better."
